2'10 x 7'3 Antique Persian Skinny Runner #2599ML / vintage skinny runner

Regular price $1,200.00

From the rugged mountains of NW Persia, this amazing antique 1920s Heriz runner has got a beautiful tribal aesthetic that will bring that coolness factor to any space it lives in. With a rarely found width under 3 feet, this skinny antique runner can be placed in areas that wider rugs may not fit. With some neutral tones and pops of red, the navy blue ground really stands out, which is always desired by those who are looking for old rugs that have great age, style, and of course, old world quality.

Handwoven with wool that has been dyed with natural resources, such as flowers, plants, and vegetables, this wonderful, tribal rug is really eye-catching. This beauty used to be a longer piece, but was professionally customized to this size by one of its keepers. You can see where the reduction of the runner is in the picture with the hand. This is a stellar piece for someone who is looking for that skinny 8’ length. It's a runner that can handle a ton of foot traffic and take on all the abuse you or the dogs or the wild children give it.

Low pile, woven in the 1920s with vegetable dyed wool.

Also, if you’re looking for a perfect mate to this piece, check out this smaller sized remnant from the same rug that was made into a scatter rug measuring 2’10 x 3’8 – #2601ML. If you do want to grab the pair, we will throw in custom cut rug pads on the house.
