This darling 1880s P E R S I A N Baluch rug mat is hand woven with wool and is a soft, floppy, ever durable and historical. It sits on a wool foundation as well and it is in excellent condition for its age. We love the fact that it is square -- so much harder to find this shape in old rugs! The dyes are all natural, from plants, fruits and vegetables as resources for color. It's color ways are deep and warm, with symbolic tribal elements throughout.
This can be used in any space that needs some lovely antiquing on the floor or art hung on the wall. It can also be used on a table as a decorative and old, soulful item.
