Handwoven in the early 1900s, this is an antique Northwest Persian runner from Heriz and it comes with amazing geometric design, ground color and character. It is not often to find a primitive Heriz runner with this art and style, with oversize floral medallions.
It is low pile, worn and has a coarse weave. With the width at 2’5”, it works with the more challenging spaces. We don't get these old runners often on the skinny, but now those narrow hallways or kitchen problems are solved with this perfect dash of personality. Hand knotted with vegetable dyed wool.
