Made of vegetable dyed wool and non-dyed camel hair, this skinny runner definitely has out attention. This runner is from circa 1880 and it comes from Northwest Persia and was woven undoubtedly with the wool of weaver’s own camel and sheep. This runner is worn, has amazing medallions running down the field with terra cotta and earthy tones. Please see pics for condition.
While we often get beautiful runners, long ones as old as this and with such fine character are truly hard to come by. This is such an exceptional piece, perfect for an entry way, hallway, bedroom or kitchen.
