2'8 x 9' Antique NW Persian runner #2428 / Skinny Persian Runner

Regular price $0.01

This is a low pile antique Northwest Persian Heriz runner with a very warm and moody color story. It has unpretentious artistry and profound appeal with step medallions in the field that are freeform and each with its own distinct design...they are in technicolor!

From the rugged NW mountains, this late 19th Century piece will be a rich backdrop loaded with great history and tribal art. In great condition for its age with a triple border suite and featuring differently outlined pinwheels of life on the largest outer border. One thing ultra cool about this runner is there is a single and sole "comb" element on the cinnamon brown main border amongst the parade of the pinwheels, something the weaver left us to wonder about.

Please note, due to the handwoven nature of this rug, the width varies slightly from 2'5 at its leanest to 2'8 at its widest. This is normal for a runner of this age.

Handwoven with all natural, vegetable dyed wool.
