A lovely 1880s village Baluch and its sweet, raw and nomadic nature simply shows off. The rug has scattered wear and is nice n floppy, hand knotted with wool, on a wool foundation. At the fringes, we see and suspect that not only sheep's wool was used, but goat's wool as well.
Baluchi tribe members hand wove this amazing piece, and Baluch rugs stand out to collectors and rug enthusiasts for their distinct look and rarity. They have become more and more sought after as an admired pieces of history. You can use a rug pad to keep it in place.
It is very worn and has a soft and floppy nature and it is pure, with all natural dyes. Will ship with a custom cut rug pad on the house.
