Here's a Persian scatter rug woven in the early 1900s and entirely a whimsical and creative product of it ingenuous weaver who left us with a fanciful piece to adore. It has an entirely naturally dyed color palette that is derived from vegetables, plants, roots, fruits and other natural resources available in and around the the village of Malayer.
This endlessly fascinating rug has remained in good condition, with beautifully aged dyes that have calmed over the years, giving us this amazing timeworn character.
Low pile with scattered wear.
This beauty will ship with a custom cut rug pad on the house.:: Yes, we work with the trade.
