This beautiful antique 1920s Persian Hamadan rug is such a little delight to behold. On an amber-rust ground, this 2x3 is an antique from the 1930s, woven with all natural, vegetable dyed wool. It is small, but a mighty piece with weight and luxurious wool that is plush and piled. It has wonderful and delicate floral accents throughout and a dainty floral border. Colors include sky blue, navy blue, ivory and a fainted red ground that is from amber-rust to rhubarb tone.
This beauty has some signs of wear and age, with tiny spots of areas with some loss of wool, but worry not, these age earned spots don't take away from the durability of the rug and only speak of its character and age. It will be able to withstand a lot of abuse, so feel free to use at an entry or area with lots of traffic.
