From the 1920s, this is a tightly woven Persian scatter rug from the southwestern part of Persia. It's worn, its seen life, but it still has a lot of love and beauty to give. Sitting on a lovely French blue backdrop woven, it features a non traditional border style that they call "a broken border" with an open field that offers spaciousness in design. The floral art featured pops, the medallion floats as if on a body of water.
Add this to any space like the laundry room or a side entry or wherever you are in need to decorate with love and soul. Low pile and woven with with all natural, vegetable dyed wool. Clean, but characteristics and wear earned through time. a good value for an old and real Persian that has lots of life left and will ground a space with true history.
