This old beauty is strong and mighty. It's an old village rug that was woven in circa 1920 by the tribal weavers of Shiraz in Persia. The wool is soft to the touch and has some pile your feet with love...the texture of this small rug is something else. It was woven on a wool foundation and has a soft, floppy handle.
The weavers included animal elements in the rug, which undoubtedly symbolizes to us the weaver's story, community and history.
We'll be sending a custom cut rug pad on the house with this little gem and it will stay nice n snug. Hand woven with vegetable dyed wool.
