Perhaps one of the most outstanding runners in shop is this remarkable gem. Evident right away is of course the saffron yellow ground with shrub design and the remarkable aqua blue borders displaying various shades of vegetable dyes from several different batches of wool the women used to weave this bold and beautiful rug.
With soft to the touch wool, this piece has scattered wear, with areas of low pile and other areas that have more wool and density. This is of course the character earned after history, time and use. The art work and abrash is unparalleled on this piece and distinct in the BPR gallery. One end border is patched. Please see pics.
