This is a magnificent and over a century old Malayer from the Hamadan region of Persia. It has an all over pattern design on a deep midnight blue with remarkable medallions and work of art throughout. It has a lot of character congruent to it's age with all natural dyes and old world wool that has beautifully aged. Heavy duty and good, even wool pile.
