3’5 x 4’ Antique Persian Heriz (#925) / 3x4 Vintage Rug

There is a lot to love in this small NW Persian mountain rug and we have nothing else like it in the collection. From Heriz, this tribal piece has rust tones and features two powerful medallions in the field and the borders feature wine cups with the jagged and edgy geometric motifs likely represent their rugged mountains they wove on.

Low pile and worn. The handle is floppy and lovely. It will fold up like a handkerchief. Hand woven with all natural, vegetable dyed wool. This is a very distinct rug that is special in size and art form. We're proud to have found it and have it in the collection.
