A super old and primitive scatter rug from 19th century, woven in the Caucasus mountains. It features 3 strong and prominent medallions in the field and is loveworn. With multiple step borders to accent, it shows off phenomenal framing, style and color contrast with that sangria red against the sand, ivory, beige and light charcoal. This low pile and sweet treasure has a lovely wool foundation that is so raw and real, just take a look at the fringes in pic.
A nomadic piece, it’ll be a great addition with loads of history to a home or office, but we suggest it not be for a high traffic area.
This is a hand woven rug made with vegetable dyed wool from circa 1880.
This little old rug will ship with a rug pad on the house to keep it nice and snug.
