Packed with a tight weave, amazing old world wool, this 1920s Persian from Kerman has loads of character with floral design all over including vases and bouquet art.

Europe made these rugs popular starting in the late 19th Century. Kermans have a soft, graceful style that combines elements of classic Persian court carpets with the colors and designs found in French textiles.

The intricate details are beautiful and Kermans are just "happy" rugs. It is low pile, worn. Please see pics for character and condition. 

On an ivory ground; Hand woven with all natural vegetable dyes.
