3'10 x 9'3 Antique worn tribal runner #2032 / 4x9 Vintage runner

Regular price $0.01

This really cool, steel blue ground runner has a certain style that cannot be overlooked. The vegetable dyed wool is delicious in this rug with one end of this late 19th Century piece displaying striking abrash. It's remarkable for our eyes to be set on it and acknowledge the sheer demonstration of how the woman who was weaving, changed the lot of wool as she was likely running out her ivory to weave.

And if you look to If each blue head-knot, you'll see its also marbled with natural streaks of ivory. Throughout the entire ground, there is much variation it the natural, vegetable dyes. The character of this rug is phenomenal and its field is brimming with boteh design. It has style of art is easy to style with its all over diagonal pattern.

This P E R S I A N from the NW mountainous areas woven by tribal people is low pile, floppy and beautifully timeworn. It has a very telling and earthy wool foundation...look at the gorgeous, natural fringes.
