The elements in the rug that are definitely symbolic of the weaver's story, culture and period of time. The color of yellow that we see in the rug is harder to find in old Oriental Rugs and this is a fun, darling little piece of history that is a highly decorative item. It can also be used as a wall hanging.
It is ready for another century of use, and is in great condition and nicely timeworn.
