3'2 x 4'2 Antique Baluch Prayer Rug (#1712) / 3x4 vintage Rug

Here's an exceptional nomadic rug from the P e r s i a n Baluchi tribe. It is actually a prayer rug and belonged to one individual who would carry it with him or her, daily. It is in phenomenal condition for its age, woven circa 1880.

This work of art can be styled as a hanging tapestry on the wall or as a magnificent floor piece. This P e r s i a n Baluch is soft to the touch and you will feel the beautiful wool pile of this piece. The top and bottom ends have flat weave edges with articulate design and in pics you can also see it's beautiful wool fringes. It will stand as a cherished family heirloom for future generations to appreciate.
