From Shiraz, the southern part of Persia, a name was once synonymous with poetry and culture comes this tribal scatter rug with deep, muddy color ways. Woven circa 1920 and has all natural, vegetable dyes. It is low pile with a wool warp and weft. The tribal weavers of this area wove many small, scatter rugs in this size on fixed looms. They're made of strong wool are definitely give off a nomadic style, which it is!
