Reds and blues...they are the dominant natural dyes we see so very often in Persian rugs and this runner boasts it! This 1920s Persian has high quality wool that is low pile. It is in good condition and if you examine it closely, the runner is not perfectly straight. This is the characteristic of a hand knotted and old world rug. The largest part of the width is 3'2.
The color ways have warmth and the natural dyes are bold, yet calm. It comes from a village in Northwest Persia, which is known to have produced really decorative rugs that are great investments for a home.
