3'3 x 13'4 Bidjar Runner #2146ML / 3x13 Vintage Runner

Regular price $0.01

Earthy and terra cotta color ways with shrub design elements in the field, this pretty runner has a lot of love to give. It is from circa 1880-1900 and has a calmness to its ground color and and a fabulous all over small scale design with ivory edge guard borders with floral art.

The ground color and what is seen is a sort of faded copper and a ton of abrash (variation of color in the natural dyes). It is quite evident in the field and so amazing to see as it shows off its art and handwoven nature while the women changed batches of their organic wool that they used to weave.

This rug is low pile, fully intact and somewhere along the way, it did get some TLC and with a few areas rewoven beautifully. One part is at the side (a couple inches) and the top and bottom edge guard borders. You wouldn't be able to really see it unless we pointed it out, as it is a job well done, but a subtle difference is the older wool vs newer wool and you can see the slight shades of difference.

This P E R S I A N is low pile and in good condition and clean!
