Filled with large paisleys and with each row displaying unique and independently awesome natural dyes to each motif, this late 19th Century runner from the Caucasus is a definite art show.
Beautiful with floral borders and nicely timeworn, it has a low wool pile and was woven on a wool foundation.
It's got a floppy handle and can fold up small, like a handkerchief, illustrating how soft and amazing the old world wool truly is.
One tiny area (where the finger points to - 2 pics shown with overall shot and one with focused detail) has been repaired to keep its integrity.
