A superb runner, 3'6 x 14, hand knotted by the Kurds, the most elemental of peoples to take to the loom. The Kurds come from Northwest P E R S I A and rug making was their form of creative expression as well as a method to teach their young of their history and culture. Thus, the symbols in Kurdish rugs link back to these nomads as a language and have meaning through every inch.
