This lovely antique 1930’s Persian Heriz tribal rug really packs a punch with a cranberry red ground that is very eye-catching. Three intricately designed medallions in ivory, French and teal blue, and hints of tan center the rug while geometric botanical art meander around them. Framing this beautiful center is an equally intricately designed border that creates a wonderful balance between the pops of French blue and the cranberry red.
This beauty was handwoven with wool dyed with natural materials, such as vegetables, plants, and flowers. There are high and low spots of the wool due to its age and history, but is very soft to the touch. Place her anywhere in need of spirited energy and warmth, creating a space that is welcoming and stylish.
