Naturally distressed through time is this P E R S I A N rug, woven by the Kurdish tribe circa 1880-1900. It features a nice central medallion, with top and bottom motifs embracing it. The corner spandrels are in an exquisite teal and the main border features a deep, indigo blue. This rug is quite worn, but also quite stout. It'll be able to take on another century of use and greet you with love at every glance. The natural, vegetable dyes have aged well and are beautifully mellowed.
