This is a tribal runner from the Caucasus mountains with amazing natural dyes that change throughout. The weavers used different batches of dyes when weaving this for the months it took on the loom. It was woven circa 1900. The rug displays a lot of art and characteristics that make it known to be old. The width of the rug is 3'5 on one side and is 3'8 on the other. Handmade!
This runner is in good condition for its age! It has one tiny patch, please see pic. All the dyes you see are completely natural, from all the resources the tribespeople had around to use (veggies, plants and flowers).
