If you immediately fall in love with this scatter rug, who can blame you? It is a powerful piece and so well crafted. This Serab rug comes from a small village in the Sabalan mountain area of NW Persia. From the 1880s - 1900, it is a piece that comes from some of the most respected and skilled weavers and it has non-dyed camel hair that you see there! This region is especially known for this and it is definitely what makes these rugs stand out from the crowd and has great influence on our souls! Serab rugs are raw and have a unique quality that is incomparable to the rest of Persians.
This little beauty adds a great deal of depth with its design and art form with the large diamond medallion filled with small scale paisleys and it's motif centralized powerfully. It is earthy, sturdy and low pile.
Handwoven with all natural, vegetable dyed wool and non-dyed camel hair.
