Crafted from luxe, high-quality vegetable dyed wool, this piece feels wonderfully substantial underfoot and is woven so durably that it can easily handle all your high-traffic areas.
The colors are where it really shines, they absolutely pop with a vibrant, eye-catching coral-watermelon field framed by deep navy and French blue border. The design in the main field is a wonderful blend of organic patterns of nature and geometric abstraction. When you look a little closer, you find more meaning... woven in there are stylized trees of life, angular branching blossoms, and bold central medallions woven into a charming tribal layout.
This little charmer is in pretty great shape, shows minor wear consistent with its century of history, mainly at the ends, along with a tiny spot of mended repair right along the inner border where my finger points (also shown is a pic of the back, where it has been gently secured). Measuring an exact size of 2'9" x 4'10", it is the ultimate accent piece to jazz up any space needing a bit of flair. Place it anywhere for a lot of pop and soul.
