3x5 Vintage Tribal Persian Rug #3161

Regular price $565.00

This antique Persian rug, woven in the mid-20th century by the Baluch tribe, is a stunning example of vintage tribal artistry. This scatter rug features two central diamond motifs, complemented by a unique tribal pattern at one end that resembles tents.

The design prominently showcases the ram's horn motif, symbolizing power, masculinity, heroism, and fertility. The border bands incorporate the S-hook motif, believed to protect against the evil eye. This wonderful rug's earthy, muddy color palette enhances its rustic charm.

Crafted from luxurious wool, it offers a plush feel underfoot. Despite its age, this small rug is in excellent condition with a well-preserved wool pile, making it a versatile piece that can be placed in various areas of your home. We will ship it with a custom cut pad on the house.
