This fine Oriental rug antique from Persia has intricate details, with amazing hand knotted work. It is known as Senneh and it was woven with a super tight weave and are particular pieces loved by many collectors.
This low pile rug is from the late 19th Century and features boteh (represents “seeds of life/fertility) throughout and exhibits beautiful abrash (variation of natural dyes from different batches of wool women uses to weave). It has lovely composition and balance, fine sheep’s wool and is in great condition for its age. The border in peach showcase turtle elements.
