This is a low pile and battered and bruised 1920s Persian Sarouk that has seen life and has battle scars to show for it. Inspired by nature, these botanical beauties from Sarouk have remained powerfully in demand since the 1940s, when USA heavily imported them and "painted their floors" with these beautiful reds and berry colors that these durable Persians are known for. While this piece has a lot of age and wear and tear - it will still charm and serve as it has a sturdy handle with plenty more time and love to give.
Low pile. Aged/Worn. Woven with vegetable dyed wool. Please see pics for full character and condition.
