4’5 x 6’4 Antique early 1900s Persian Senneh rug (#1655) / 4x6 vintage Rug

This Persian is a phenomenal Senneh that was hand knotted with a super tight weave and is highly esteemed by collectors. Woven circa 1900, it features a triple medallion design in the field on a brick-red-rust color ground. All natural dyes. Low pile, and has some wear. The antique rugs of Senneh are considered among the most refined expressions of Persian woven art. Their delicate designs are exquisite and are actually known for being the "thinnest" of all the Persians!

Being that these rugs are single wefted, they tend to wear less than other Persians that come from other villages. They typically come with geometric design that you see you and we almost always see them in small sizes (not room size).
