4’9 x 6’5 Antique Persian Bakhtiari (#1203ML) / 5x7 Vintage Rug

Packed with superior wool and a tree of life design, this antique Persian from circa 1920 displays amazing art and value. It was a sacred act for the artisans that wove this rug and we can be inspired by it. The tree of life design is spoken and seen throughout many cultures since the time of Mesopotamia. It illustrates our desire and the model for self growth and perhaps we can say, self actualization and enlightenment. This low pile Persian is on a midnight blue ground and is in great shape for its age. It comes from the Bakhtiari tribe in Persia, located on the Zagros Mountains.
