From the Persian Bakhtiari tribe is this circa 1880s gem, woven with superior wool that has weight to it. This rug dazzles us with design and all the scrumptious natural vegetable dyes used to weave this charming small rug is delightful.

What grabs our attention immediately on this rug is the art work on the midnight blue field that has its own life and composition that is unique and easy to love, along with the aqua blue border that cannot be missed with natural variations of dyes throughout. The borders have a life of its own and frames the rug so beautifully with the gorgeous contrast created by the weaver to draw us in even more.
