A beautiful color palette adorns this antique Persian! If you look closely, you’ll also see the amazing abrash (variation of natural dyes) from different batches of wool the woman used to weave this village rug. This small piece comes from Malayer, where some of the most decorative scatter rugs were created and that we now, 100 years later, have to cherish.
Low pile. Worn to foundation in some areas. Fully intact. Condition and character parallel to age and history. All natural, vegetable dyed wool. Woven circa 1900.
