Regular price $2,400.00

This is definitely one amazing, old Turkish rug and we're proud to have it in our collection, especially at this hard to find size! Hand woven with high quality wool and so beautiful in presence, this baby sits on a wool foundation and has a lovely wool pile. Your feet won't miss the feeling. It's floppy and luxurious...feels almost like a large wool blanket. Generally, Oushak rugs are notable for the grand, monumental scale of the designs, typically with a subdued palette and their particularly soft and lustrous wool pile.

Antique Oushak rugs come with great history and culture, speaking volumes about its people and a period of time. The weavers have been producing beautiful pieces in Western Turkey since the Ottoman period.

This pieces encompasses a floral design, with a beautiful open field, central medallion, and artistic charm. This color ground is the first we've ever collected and it may be the first you've seen one as well. Just so rare and outstanding.
