From the Persian Bakhtiari tribe, this is an excellent example of one of their finer rugs woven. Framed beautifully with a highly intricate border and a field of water garden design, this 100+ year old antique rug has amazing detail, natural dyes, floral art in the subtle and muted pistachio border and is in good condition for its age.
Low pile, aged well. Handwoven with vegetable dyed wool.
