This Persian Kerman from the 1920s was woven in the South of the country and has ivory and berry dyes adorning it. The rug has a very tight and skillful weave, adding to the articulate design we have to admire.
It is very worn, mainly along the sides and selvedges, with breaks in its wool. The rug will be patched from the underside to protect it and keep its integrity. It is still quite durable and can maintain living in a higher traffic area, but do know it is antique and has some areas that you have to watch out for, along the sides, mainly. There are plenty of pics to show off its beauty, character and condition. It has a great size to add loads of life to a space and at great value for age and quality.
