An antique 1920s Persian rug woven by the Kurds, featuring small scale paisley art throughout and a central diamond medallion on an ivory ground. The wool woven with all natural dyes is worn, yet durable and this Kurdish shows off multiple bands of art in its borders including the last border, which is the fence of security. The ground color in the field is midnight blue with abrash which graduates into charcoal. Other colors include antique ivory, aqua blue, brick red, rose red, coral, rust and pale yellow.
