A small Turkish prayer rug from circa 1880-1900 that belonged to one person who most likely wove it and carried it with himself or herself daily. This is a symbolic piece that belonged to an individual on a personal level for his or her prayer rituals. It showcases the Mihrab of the Mosque and has aged and subtle, natural dyes. This rug is in original condition and can be used for the floor or as a superb wall hanging. Please note: It has some minor stains/discolorations on it in the field. The rug has been professionally cleaned. All natural, vegetable dyed wool.
