Originating from the skillful weavers of the Caucasus Mountains, this awesome antique 1900s Kazak rug is a soulful piece of floor art that will infuse a space with boldness and character. Strong graphic patterns, such as the ram’s horn motif that can be seen throughout, symbolizing power, strength, and masculinity, illustrate the values of the culture the weavers come from. S-hook motifs also dot the landscape of this rug, which provide protection from the evil eye. The border band with the 8-pointed stars, symbolizing happiness and fertility, creates a lovely frame tying it all together perfectly.

Handwoven with vegetable dyed wool on a wool foundation, this beauty has a floppy handle and a low pile. Take a closer look and notice the abrash of shifting colors, which is when a new batch of vegetable dyed wool is introduced into a rug. Brick red ground changing into chocolate brown or the varying hues of blue make this a one-of-a-kind rug.

Although this splendid rug shows signs of wear from a long life already lived, this rug still has a lot of life to live. Bring this rug home and let it fill your space with boldness, character, and style.
