Late 19th Century Beshir Turkoman rug; A highly collectible antique P E R S I A N rug, attributed to the Ersari Turkmen tribes in Central Asia, in an exquisite and large size and style often referred to as "Beshir."
Wool pile on wool foundation. Rug is low pile and worn. It has soft, floppy wool and recently, some areas were nicely mended to keep this rug in good shape and in restored condition. Please see pics for full condition and character. Handwoven with all natural, vegetable dyed wool.
