It’s got old world wool with a floppy nature, aged and worn through time and an all over boteh design that makes it easy to style. This 1880s Persian woven by the Kurdish tribe features the 8 pointed star of wisdom, tree shrub design and flower art in the borders. The rug has an espresso brown ground color. Low pile with heavy wear and some mended areas. Recently gave this antique rug new hand binding on the sides and secured all areas for its new chapter of life.
