Here’s a very love worn Persian with Shah Abbas flowers, a master created work of art and design that has stood in the Persian dynasty for hundreds of years. The Shah Abbas a is a very well known motif and quite beautiful, too, of course.

This rug was woven circa 1880 in the Persian village of Mahal. It has a floppy handle and will fold up small, with amazing low pile wool that was dyed naturally with vegetables, plants, fruits and other natural resources to the dyers and weavers.

This piece has one small slit in the very middle that was mended and reinforced with a patch from the back. It’s a great buy for amazing decor, age and style!
