5 x 6'3 Antique Persian Gharajeh Heriz (#1519ML) / 5x6 vintage rug

A RARE SIZE FOR AN ANTIQUE HERIZ, it’s Heriz Jr.! 

Almost all Persian Heriz rugs we seem to catch are 8x10 or larger. This is a great find and a sweet little treasure. So for those of you who love heriz and some awesome blue, this baby is here and ready for adoption. 

This rug was hand knotted in Northwest Persia, and is in amazing condition for its 100 years of age. A real beauty that has timeless value and generations to go. This rug has coarse knotting and a low wool pile with a sophisticated geometric design and medallions in it's field.

It's an all natural, vegetable dyed wool rug and in great condition, especially considering its age. Remember, this is an original Heriz, not a reproduction. It does not get better than original Oriental rugs such as this.
