5 x 6'5 Antique nomadic rug (#1520ML) / 5x7 vintage rug

Here is an old and moody antique P E R S I A N, woven in the 1920s by the A F S  H A R nomads and these rugs were typically from small looms.

This tribal rug features many symbolic elements that the weavers left us including the 8 pointed star (2 in the center and one on each corner of the field) representing the ability of human beings, to attain a higher level of understanding and wisdom. It also has peacocks all over, symbolic for happiness, love and nobility. It is a treat to know the history and spirit that comes with each woven old rug. 

This antique P E R S I A N is low pile.
