Afshar nomads hand wove this beautiful early 1900s wool rug. It comes from a Persian tribal group that is known for their unique aesthetic and craftsmanship and Afshar rugs we cherish today hold up their legacy. This rug has a midnight blue ground and features medallions and motifs with colors that have great pop against the beautiful rust color. It's size is magnificent and nearly 5x7, so it has the might to play up a space with immense power.

It is low pile, woven on a wool foundation and worn. Its nature of wool is durable, light and floppy; it folds up like a hankerchief. You may want to add a rug pad for this beauty and to keep it in place. You can order it here and we'll custom cut it to size and send with order.
