5x10 Antique early 1900s Rug (#1663) / Large Vintage Rug

This 5x10 antique P E R S I A N was woven with old world wool and on a navy blue ground and warm color ways. It has what is known as a "Mahi" design, which means "fish design". 

The fine wool, exceptional craftsmanship, elegance and decorative appeal of this F E R A H A N is a favorite of connoisseurs and interior designers and is a great size for those who seek something a little less ordinary and the all over small scale pattern ought to make styling this P E R S I A N super easy. 

Low pile, in worn condition, commensurate with age and weaved so beautifully. Hand knotted with vegetable dyed wool in the early 1900s.
