5x7 Vintage Persian Tribal Rug #854ML

Regular price $2,160.00

Draped in a sea of boteh, those charming paisley motifs have danced through Persian weaving for centuries. This antique Persian rug hails from the rugged northwest mountains, hand knotted about 100 years ago.

Each boteh is a tiny seed of life, a symbol of growth and fertility, scattered across an indigo field that carries the soul of natural dyes. Look closely and you’ll see abrash…those subtle shifts in shade that only vegetable-dyed wool and time can create, telling you this piece is as honest as the hands that wove it.

The pile is low from a century of service, yet it remains in lovely condition, with every motif still crisp and expressive. Its all-over, small-scale design makes it wonderfully easy to style.

This is a rug that speaks the language of folk art, humble yet masterful, symbolic yet practical, and it’s ready to keep telling its story for another hundred years. Low pile, durable, and handwoven with vegetable dyed wool.
