5x9 Antique Worn Persian Shiraz rug #2314ML

This is an old and worn village rug, hand knotted by tribal weavers of Shiraz, which happens to be home to the famous Qashqai tribe. It travels to us from the 19th Century and was hand knotted with old world wool and on a wool foundation. 

This Persian is all organic, its wool was naturally dyed with vegetables, roots and plants sources. It features 3 diamond medallions with tribal elements throughout, packed with immense character and showing off its beautiful age of over 100 years. It will bring immediate, old world charm to any space it lives in.

From the late 19th Century.

Low pile, very worn. Wool on wool foundation. With a floppy handle.
